Welcome to the BER (Building the Education Revolution) Report.
BACKGROUND
Under the Federal Government's programme to stimulate the economy primary schools were able to access funds to have buildings constructed on their school site. Following lengthy consultation, we decided that our needs would best be served by choosing a three classroom early childhood centre and a two classroom multi purpose centre to house a purpose built art room and music centre. The project is expected to exceed $3M. The site was found to be difficult to build on with a great deal of cap rock and the land sloped steeply from the south to the north.
Due to the small area, it was decided to construct two buildings rather than one. Once the site was fenced, construction began in earnest.

CURRENT INFORMATION
The BER project has finished and we now have a superb Early Childhood Centre and purpose built Music and Art rooms. The BER report will remain on the website to provide a visual timeline of the construction of the buildings.
June 21 2010. The site works began today following the fencing of the whole area.

February 2011 The buildings are nearly complete, the lawn is down and we are using the Music and Art rooms with temporary power.
