Multicultural Day 2011

On Friday 12 August Pak law, our LOTE teacher, organised a Multicultural Day to showcase some of the aspects of other cultures, especially the Asian ones. All of our students from Pre Primary to Year 7 participated in Indoor and Outdoor Games and Asian Cooking Demonstrations. A lunch consisting of satay sticks and sushi was enjoyed with parents in the wonderful sunshine. The assembly that launched the day included the choir singing some Indonesian songs, year seven students performing a short play which was transalated into English, Luke, opur guest, demonstrating the bagpipes, and those who came dressed in costume parading across the stage.
